What is Reflexology?
Having completed a Level 5 Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology, achieving a Distinction in the theory and practice of Duopody Reflexology, I am a full member of the Association of Reflexologists and follow a strict Code of Practice and Ethics. More information is available here: https://www.aor.org.uk/
Membership number: 31619 Reflexology is a complementary therapy that works on the principles that there are reflexes in the feet and hands that correspond to all the body's systems. An ancient therapy that's been practiced for over 5000 years, it's believed that working these reflexes or areas can aid relaxation, boost mood, release tension, enhance sleep and generally improve well-being; allowing us to cope better with the stresses that life can bring. Everybody is unique and we all respond differently to different things. Come and try it for yourself when we can meet up again. All treatments are bespoke, so the first treatment is likely to take about an hour, as you'll be asked to complete a lifestyle and health questionnaire. Further treatments will last around 45 minutes, and will take account of your needs. Following a clinical approach, I use a range of techniques, largely Duopody, but also including NEPIP, Universal, and accessing meridians and acupressure points to take into account presentations such as menopause, pregnancy, palliative care, insomnia, musculoskeletal stiffness and injury, or simply for relaxation. Treatments are £40, or book more than one and they're £30 each. Please contact me on 07799 071562 to book or if you're interested in knowing more (treatments on hold at the moment). |
