Rishiculture Ashtanga Yoga

Picture
Yoga classes for relaxing, unwinding and stilling the mind.  Rishiculture Ashtanga Yoga was spread by Dr. Swami Gitananda, who is often called as the Father of Modern Scientific Yoga.  Starting in a sitting position with warming-up exercises (Jattis), incorporating breathing techniques (Hathenas and Pranayamas) and Yoga postures (Asanas), ending with relaxation.

Coaching & Mindfulness

Picture
An Associate Member of the Association for Coaching, a qualified Rishiculture Ashtanga Yoga teacher with experience going back over 15 years I work with clients to discover what's important and what interferes with achieving goals.  Self-knowledge and awareness are key to success - deepening the mindfulness skill is central to the coaching work I do and enables identification of values, feelings of well-being and ease, leading to  success.

Clinical Reflexology

Reflexology is a system of massage practiced on the feet and hands to relieve tension, promote the body’s healing and bring homeostasis.  It’s based on the theory that there are reflex points on the hands and feet linked to every part of the body and to the various moods and emotions.

Treatment is bespoke using techniques such as Duopody, Universal, NEPIP and Ingham as appropriate.

No need for mats or Lycra, a slot of between 45 to 75 minutes, to suit your timetable of the day, is enough time to learn skills to release tension and manage stress.  Sessions also cover breathing to control anxiety and enhance presentation skills - whether to a group or delivering bad news one to one.

series of 5 workshops designed to slot into any workplace wellbeing programme.  At the end of the 5 weeks, delegates will:
  • Understand their own stress triggers
  • Be able to recognise when and how stressed they are, its impact on their own and others' performance
  • Understand stress prevention and management skills
  • Have identified their preferred tools for the successful identification, prevention and management of stress
